Cutwork designs?

Do any of the existing SA levels include the ability to create designs for use with Husqvarna cutwork needles?
If not, will this be in SA3?

Ties and Jumps when saving

Hi, In the Essentials Preferences window, there are two options 'Run when jumps are small', and 'Ensure ties surrounding jumps'. I have looked in the online Help (Mac) for an explanation of these options, but have not found the relevant info. If it's there, I'm not seeing it! Can someone please expl...

Re: Adding thread colours

Thanks, yes I do have the latest version of Essentials. I only bought it very recently and it has not been updated since. At present, I only have Sulky Rayon threads and my collection definitely contains some that don't come up in the Essentials list. I also have the most recent version of the manua...

Re: Can I do this with Essentials?

It looks like you added the holly leaves back in as well, is that correct? I'm not sure why you wanted to remove more stitches under the holly leaves since they were cut out already. No, that's what is odd. I didn't add the holly leaves back in at all. The holly leaves were already cut out by the e...

Adding thread colours

Is there any way to add thread colours that are not already listed? I've looked through the manual, but can't see this covered. I have a lot of Sulky threads, some of which are not listed and I'd like to be able to add them in. Also, as multicolour / space dyed /ombre threads are becoming more avail...

Re: Can I do this with Essentials?

As a learning experiment, I decided to try Lisa's idea of splitting the design into separate files and then merging them back together again. This did work to a certain extent, in that it made some of the base areas less dense. Oddly, a few stitches seemed to be added where they had not previously e...

Re: Can I do this with Essentials?

Thank you CLT3, I did try that but it didn't do anything, which is why I posted here. I'm probably doing something wrong, so here's the steps I took: 1. Selected the whole design (grouped) 2. Clicked the Remove hidden Stitches button. Nothing seemed to happen (e.g. no dialogue or confirmation), but ...

Can I do this with Essentials?

Hi All, New Essentials user here in need of assistance! I have a design which I would like to modify and I'm not sure whether what I want to do can be done in Essentials, or whether I would need Enthusiast for this. Or maybe I can't do it in either of these? The design is a decorated Christmas baubl...
