Unexpected feature of StitchArtist
First, I must say that StitchArtist is the easiest and most intuitive digitizer that I've ever worked with - simply fun to play with. But there's an added benefit! I've always used Photoshop and exported stitch design pictures to arrange designs on shirts and simulate the end result - can be tedious...

Re: Pes files
If on a Mac, right click on a pes file and choose Get Info. In the box with the designated application for opening the file, choose Embrilliance plus check the box that says apply this to all files of this type. If on Windows, right click a pes file and get Properties. Do basically the same as above...

When you get more advanced, you can split a larger design into two files so that a larger design can be stitch...

Re: only saves a be. not a per. to my USB drive
Are you using the menu command 'Save stitch file as' to save to your flash drive? When you do that, it should default to pes, since that is what you use. Also, there is a drop down list to choose your format.

First, click the ABC button to add lettering. Click on the letters that you've just added in the workspace and look at the right panel. You should see 3 tabs - Color, Letters, and Stitch. Did you load the serial number into Essentials? All that shows up to indicate that the program is there is a button with a needle and ABC. Are you sure that you do not have that?

Re: saving a be. file
I have the Five Star Fonts Mug Rug file and one of my machines is a PE 770. When I delete the flower and add something else, I do not have any issues. Why are you using a .dst file? Are you using the Save Stitch File As when writing to your USB? I always save as .pes. I can use a dst file, but that ...

Re: Hoop not showing
Look under your View menu item and make sure that Draw Hoop is selected. By checking or unchecking this menu item, you can choose to show or hide your hoop. Are you doing a Save Stitch File As when trying to save to your USB. If you just click the save button, the file is saved where it is without a...
