what is "place on the bottom"?

What is the purpose of "place on the bottom"which is a choice when using the circle motif? And how do I use it?

Hope you will go through the method to uninstall the old version before installing the .3 version on my apple.
Thanks,
kat

Re: scrolling

My Mac book Pro is over a year old now. And the blue scroll does work fine. It is all about habits we develop like the two finger scroll. No problem to adjust.

Re: isolating parts of a design

Thanks so much for your reply. My screen does Not say objects at all. In that object bar or tree is a small triangle which works separately from clicking the design name. When I clicked the triangle it did show the color layers and I can delete. Yea! Undo doesn't seem to work sometimes....user error?

scrolling

Scrolling up once I have scrolled down with two fingers seems to be very shakey. It really doesn't want to do it. If I click on the blue scroll button, then I can go up and down with one finger.

isolating parts of a design

I think it would be so helpful to be able to split out the parts of my design that I don't want. I don't see a place to isolate an object and then manipulate it. This seems to be an essential part of editing a design and would be so nice in Essentials. For instance I have a vine with flowers intersp...

Re: enlarging a design

Let me say how easy it is to enlarge proportionately.....just hold dow the shift key while on one of the black squares. ( I kept trying to do something with the lock box which had proportional scaling on it or I also tried to change the percentages. If either of these methods also scale, I never fig...

enlarging a design

I'm new to essentials and can't find where to enlarge a design that I've imported from my collection. When I select the design, squares appear that can be moved to enlarge or change the shape. Is there a way to enlarge in a uniform manner? Thanks.
