check the file extension(the .whatever) and see if it is the latest for the machine. For example, I have a Viking. It will take .hus .vp3. If I load a .hus the file colors come up all weird and mixed. The newer file type the .vp3, works great, all colors are as they should be. So, check your machine...

right click any .be (stitchArtist) file icon. Go to properties in the popup window. Go to "open with" and find program - follow this address: Progam Files/BriTon Leap/Embrilliance/ select Embroidery.exe

it has to be a windows disk - 2HD - formatted - and no folders or unrelated files

combine holes/too many stitches

When using Combine Holes: when it stitches, it stitches around the hole more than three times leaving a heavy buildup on the back. Anyway to get it to limit number of times it stitches around the hole when doing a fill?

I didn't convert it back to a .be file. That can not be done as far as I know. It was a simple design so I just recreated it for her.
