Re: Since update I can't select design

I also use a Mac and have the latest update. I can select all in at least 3 ways. Edit - select all, Command-a, or simply drag around. I use Brother machines and can't answer for others, but to get the design to the USB, go to File - Save Stitch File As and choose your USB as the place to save. Plea...

Re: Update?

I am not getting this message. Have you all updated to 1.134? Is this just a Windows thing? There have been about 3 updates very recently. Double-check that you do have the latest. If so, send a message to the Embrilliance team.

Re: Saving Letters as Applique Cut File

I have not used the cutting machine yet for appliqué. Until this latest update, I considered it too much trouble. I will be trying it in the near future. I know that some people enlarge the design - length and width by 1.5 mm in the cutting software. Others use the offset command and add 1.5 mm path...

Re: Saving Letters as Applique Cut File

Betty It would seem that depending on what type of outline the digitizer of the applique designs or applique letters used may determine which position to use for the cut files. Some digitizers may have included a complete outline, inner and outer outline, while others may only have included an outs...

On my appliqués, the placement and tack down are identical.

Re: Color Sort Utility

I am also on a Mac running 10.9.4 and just tried this. Mine also quit. Yes, there is a bug in the new version, but I'm sure that it will get fixed soon. I'll also send a note to the Embrilliance team.

Re: software update

To get an official word, you should use the 'Contact Us' button above. Also, it's always a good idea to have your computer backed up. I use Time Machine plus I make extra copies of some files on external disks and DVDs.

Re: Saving Letters as Applique Cut File

I experimented with a couple of my appliqué letters. One was a circular monogram from Planet Applique. I had to mark the tack down as the placement also as the first stitch just had the outline. I saved the cut file as a .studio and as a .svg. In both cases the center showed the cutout. Perhaps ther...
