Re: software update

I have upgraded many times and have never lost a font. I'm using a Mac and can't speak for Windows.

Re: Stop button not working

You should have gotten a response within less than 24 hrs. I'd try again. I did not try the stop button, but found issues with the thread palettes not showing. They are working on some fantastic new things and let a few bugs creep in, but they will get it all fixed and give us some great new things ...

Re: merging a bx file

There should be files in your download ending in '.bx'. Open the Embrilliance program and drag the .bx file into the open window of the program. You'll then see a message that the file has been installed. The font is now ready to use. You should have a .bx file for each size of the font (if it comes...

Re: Having 2 problems

I found the drag and drop easy to do. You might give that a try again with your remove hidden stitches turned off. I'm on a Mac with 1.129.

Re: Having 2 problems

When applique steps disappear, it is usually because you have 'remove overlaps' selected in preferences. Check your settings.

Re: Having 2 problems

I'm using 1.129 on Mac. I do everything the same as you accept that I do not do a select all. That should make no difference. I just put the name where I want it and click the save button. The stitch file is the same as the working file as far as order. It just doesn't show the split in the appliqué...

Re: Having 2 problems

I have added names to many ITH designs after the tack down stitch. Just drag the name up to the desired place. When the blue line appears, let it go. In the working file, you will see two triangles next to the numbers which appears to split the appliqué design with the name in between. When you save...

Re: Having 2 problems

Maybe I'm not understanding your issue, but I have been able on my Mac to move a design to any step position, appliqué or not. Please feel free to pm me with Mac issues. I found the latest upgrade buggy and re-installed the earlier version from TimeMachine. I'll use that version until I'm sure the n...

Re: Singer Futura xl400

Since I've never had a Singer Futura, I cannot answer with authority. My best guess is that if you plug the machine into the computer, the machine will show up just like an external drive and that you can do a Save Stitch File As and save it to the mounted drive. But, if she lives close to you, just...
