Alignment of letters in Enthiasts

Post by Dayna25 » Fri Feb 06, 2015 1:18 pm

Good afternoon

This is my first post, I just recently bought the Enthusiast program. I really appreciate the ability of printing templates! I have been working on a project with letters and had to split the letters into two hoopings. On screen the letters show they are lined up, but when printed come out just below the cross hairs. Can anyone advise why this is happening. I have also downloaded Lisa's alignment line as a helpful tool.

thank you in advance for any help

Dayna

Oop I actually bought Essentials and also it says I can split the designs, but I can't find that option when I go to where it says it should be. I have a janome 9900. I'm considering buying Enthusiasts if I need it to be able to split the larger designs...Hope someone can help

Thank you Dayna

Hi Dayna25!

Lisa from the Embrilliance Team has a Blog of her own and she has posted about how to align designs using the Alignment Lines that are now part of Essentials in the Library Section of Essentials.
I have posted a picture below of the tab to click on in Essentials to find the Alignment Stitches in the Essentials Library.

You can read through the following 2 Blog posts that Liza has about aligning designs and you can download a design zip file from the first Blog to practice with.

Original Blog on Aligning designs
https://sewbubbles.wordpress.com/2013/0 ... o-designs/

And here is the Video that goes with the first Blog above.

And this is the second Blog about Aligning designs.
https://sewbubbles.wordpress.com/2015/01/16/

You can align letters to make a long name with for multi hooping using this method and as Lisa says in her Blog this method may be much easier than trying to split a large design or name.

Lisa also has a online class on the Craftsy website that you maybe interested in at the following link.

If you have more questions please feel free to post them here on the Forum.
