converting TTF to BX

Post by blugirl224 » Mon Jan 01, 2018 2:37 pm

Can I download TFF fonts and somehow convert them to BX in order to use with Embrilliance Essentials? If so how? Thank you in advance for your help. I'm very new to all this.

I have this same question. I looked at the HELP Manual (Mac OS) and it says to use the Alpha Tricks to import the TTF but whenever I select the folder they are in, nothing appears in the Embrilliance import window to import. The folder is totally blank. I also tried to use Finder, I selected the Font I wanted and did an "open with" Embrilliance command. Nothing happened. So I am guessing AT doesn't convert TTF to a BE or BX file.
embroidery on Mac OSX has opened up a new world to me...

No, AT does not convert TTF to BE or BX fonts. AT takes already digitized fonts in what ever format you use (PES, DST, etc.) and converts them to keyboard fonts. This allows you to just type in your word or name instead of merging designs.
