Receiving purchased fonts in multiple file types

Post by Ang Stu » Wed Jan 01, 2014 3:01 pm

When purchasing some fonts I received these files in multiple file types. I only need the .jef file. I use a Mac,
I would like to know how to delete all of the other files that I receive in the download quickly? Currently I go to the file and
select and delete, I have tried to group them together but the .jef file will not group as one, I have hundreds of
formats that I do not need. What am I doing wrong? I have spent hours trying to clean up my files. I currently have
Embrilliance, Thumbnailer, and Alphatricks.

Thank you.

I either sort by kind or by application or a combination of the two to isolate what I want. Have you tried selecting the ones you want to keep and moving them to another folder and then deleting the folder that contains all that you don't want? I use that method often.

Organizing in Finder can be tedious. We do make Convert It, Mac for this purpose, and others too. You can select which file types you want to view, which helps, and you can do conversions on things you need to bring into your format. Have a peek at MacEmb.com
