Splitting a lettering design for MA Hoop(Janome 11000)
I have been trying to get my machine to read split files of a large lettering design. Enthusiast is saving my design as a "split" design, but my machine says that the file is damaged, and will not read it. I have used my machine to sew split files before, and it hasn't been an issue...until I got to lettering. To save some time, I have used Janome machines for many years, and I know about the appropriate directories(ie EMBF) to use.
To troubleshoot, I changed the color for part of the name(intending to NOT change the color, to see if I could "trick" the machine.) No dice.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Carol!
If you are following the steps that are shown in the Video at the link below for saving your split design, it should split for your multi position hoop.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGP2aN7 ... e=youtu.be
If your machine is still not recognizing the split stitch files then please contact the Embrilliance Support Team for help by filling out and submitting the Open Support Ticket at the link below.
Give as much information as possible about the problem you are having splitting the Lettering design for your MA Hoop.

Thanks for your help, I'll be submitting a support ticket, as I watched the video yesterday or the day before.
It is an amazingly simple process. I wish that it was working for me.

Hi Raes,
I haven't submitted the ticket yet. I am hoping that support can figure something out, as this was a huge reason for purchasing this software.
Will keep you posted.

Hi Carol
I really think you should fill out the Support Ticket as the Embrilliance Support Team may not be aware that there is a problem with the Janome 11000 machines reading the Split files for the Multi Position MA hoop that are produced using the Essentials software program.

So, I think that I figured it out. JEF is great for single, nonsplit hoop designs, but for multiple position hoops, it is better to use the JEF+ format.
I made up a new hoop, and set it to match the dimensions of the Macro Hoop.
My machine thumbed its nose at lettering files, in particular. This fixed that issue, and I got a thumbnail to show up(look for the "Regina" file).
But will it run? Voila!!!!!
Put me on the payroll!
