Re: converting TTF to BX

I have this same question. I looked at the HELP Manual (Mac OS) and it says to use the Alpha Tricks to import the TTF but whenever I select the folder they are in, nothing appears in the Embrilliance import window to import. The folder is totally blank. I also tried to use Finder, I selected the Fon...

Re: File Extension

Are you on a Mac? Convert it Mac will convert your files. With Essentials and Enthusiast you need to open your existing file and export it into whatever file type your machine can read. What file type does your machine read? What file types do you need to open?

Re: File Extension

You can buy either .bx, .be or the .exp which your machine uses. You can open them all in any of the Embrilliance software and when you are finished you can export it as an .exp file for your machine to stitch out.

Re: merge menu-mapping question

This seems to have reached the attention of those that "fix things". Thanks. The current version allows merging of files whether on my MBA, a USB or via WiFi to my MM.

Re: Default File Locations

I do the same- I do not store on my C drive. I haven't found a way to change to change the installer on my Mac. I end up copying/backing up to my network drive using Goodsync. That way, if I delete files when cleaning or making room, I can import those I need.

Re: EXPRESS

You will need to do the mapping yourself for fonts that are not .BX or .be. There are a few good YT videos. Search Alpha Fonts mapping. It takes me less than a minute to map my purchased fonts (not .be).

Re: manual for Enthusiast?

Thanks- I have the old Essentials Manual from when I first installed it so these newer programs aren't in it. I just downloaded the newer version and am off to do some reading!
I am trying to find out if any of the Essentials software will let me add or adjust underlay or background stitching.

manual for Enthusiast?

I am looking for a manual or pdf help file for Enthusiast. If I download the software does it come with a manual or online pdf manual? I saw the one video about building a frame and a few short descriptions on the home page about splitting and this forum about the lasso but I would like more compreh...

Re: merge menu-mapping question

Yes i know! That's why I hoped I could map the merge option pathway to the folders on my server over my home network. Perhaps you can move this to the Request Feature Forum so I can use Merge with my home network server folders.
