moving designs

How do I move my designs from my mac to the embroidery machine? Obviously a newbie, thx!

Hi Lulu09!

Since you posted in the Essentials section on the Forum here I assume you have Essentials software to work with your designs. Is this correct?
In order to help you could you answer the following questions please.
Could you tell us which Embroidery Machine you have?
Does it require you to put designs on a USB Thumb Drive or any other device or card that then goes in your embroidery machine?

I have used the software, however, my foggy brain can't remember how I moved my designs to the machine, I have a baby lock ellageo plus, and I am pretty sure I used by USB cord the last time, just cant remember what the steps are, thank you

Are you using a Mac computer or Windows computer?

I think if you watch this video at the link below it will help you.
It shows how to save using a Mac Computer.

The only difference would be you are saving to your machine that has been connected to your computer via your USB cord and it should show up as a drive on your computer just as the USB Thumb Drive did in the video above.

Let me know if this makes sense to you and if it works for getting your designs to your macvhine via USB cord.
