order of stitching
order of stitching
I have edited an in the hoop gift card holder deign to add a name. When I try to change the order of the stitching (tack down first, then the design, then adding the back side and finally finishing the design) by moving color changes (or whatever the correct term for each step is) into the correct order the design parts still stitch in the order they were originally added. I have worked around this by jumping back and forth which is cumbersome. What am I doing wrong? I would attach the Embrilliance EXP file but I am getting a message that the extension exp is not allowed
Re: order of stitching
I would like to know the answer to this also. I've merged a Christmas stocking design with a name and can't change the sewing order (colour order) for the name to sew out in the correct sequence. As stated in the original post, it is cumbersome having to do this manually on the embroidery machine while sewing the design out. I hope there's a simple answer to this??

Re: order of stitching
I see this hasn't been answered yet on here
I need to know this also. Is there a easier way? I have duplicated a design and need it to embroider that color at the same time it is being done on the first design. HELP

Re: order of stitching
Use the menu 'Utility->Color Sort' if you have Essentials.
Embroidery software and designs for Mac and Windows.
"Embroidery for the Rest Of Us!"
