Changing the thread brand

Post by dcsharpe » Fri Aug 31, 2012 8:10 pm

I set up my preferred brand and now I can't figure out how to change it. Any of the selection drop down boxes I click on just list the brand I originally chose. Brother is the brand I originally chose if it matters. TIA!

Use the Color properties page to change anything selected or the whole page (if nothing at all is selected) into your preferred thread brand.

Sorry, I'm new to the program. How do I get to the color properties page? Thank you for your help :D

I got to the basic thread and palette editor but there is nothing in the drop down box beside "thread".

OK, I am reading closely in the manual and from what I can tell, when I click the drop down selection box there should be different brands of thread but, I only have Brother.

If it appears that your threads are missing:
1.) Re-download the current version.
2.) Install it as the user you are going to use it with.
The threads get installed to the user's Documents folder.
If you run as a different user, then only the Brother thread remains, as a safety.

Thread Options

Post by LLBCrafts » Mon Sep 03, 2012 8:00 pm

Hey all!

I'm relatively new to all this embroidery business, but I found this software and I KNEW I had to have it for my Mac!

However, even though I've watched the videos, read the manual, and read through the forums- I cannot seem to find any information on the thread brand options. In my thread options, it is ONLY showing Brother Embroidery Thread- no other brands! Can anyone help me out?? I'm sure I've just overlooked the directions to change it, I just cannot find them in a timely manner!

Thanks everyone!

How exactly would you "re-download" the current version if you bought it from the App Store? Thanks! :)

Use the Contact Us link and we'll see what's going on. Not getting other reports of any problem. The MAS version should have alerted you to 1.103 version. If you are there, then something else is going on and we can have our Mac expert look into it with you.

I am having the same problem. Just downloaded and learning the program, however, in the drop down box the only option is Brother. Any answers to this issues?
