Is there a way to go back and edit design in StitchArtist?

Post by lwiedenfeld » Sun Dec 07, 2014 12:18 pm

Hello,

I just digitized my first design with StitchArtist and stitched out a test. Some objects stitched out way better than expected and some did not turn out so well. I went back into my design (.be) and noticed that I do not have the option to edit the properties in StitchArtist anymore. I can only adjust the density as in a regular design.

Do I have to restart the digitizing process from the beginning? Or, is there a way to get back into it and just edit the parts I need to? I forgot to write down the settings that I was using and don't know if I can duplicate the really good parts again... :?

Thank you,
Lesa

I ran into this problem, too. My design lost all of its editable node information. This was in version 1.136. I'm now using the latest version 1.137 so I'm hoping that this problem is fixed.

It doesnt seem to be fixed in V1.137. Also is there no way to keep the structure of the object? my save seems to have lumped all of the runs and fills in to one big object.

disregard that, when you load the design back in, make sure you load the .be version, not the .pes version. When you do, just click on the create icon again and you will be back to design mode

I reopened the .be file but cannot go back and edit the existing design. I'm just going to start from scratch and try again. Thanks!

I double-checked my own design that had lost its nodes, and indeed the nodes were truly gone from the .be file. Clicking on the "Create Design" button did not bring those nodes back.

I completely started over in 1.137, recreating my original design. So far, all is well. So perhaps this problem has been fixed. Let's hope so! Lynne
