getting rid of underlay runing stiches

Post by pinkneedle » Thu Jan 14, 2016 12:02 pm

I have digitized a cat and set the density to 7.6. But no matter how I change the entry and exit flag there is an underlay running stich (sorry, dont know how it is called. I have underlay off but its the run that the needel takes to go into the corners of the object).
So the "fur" stiches go up and down while the underlay run goes acros. And because its not so dense you can see it.

Is there a way to have the underlay runs paralles with the top stiches ?

its small, only 5 cm, but on the head you can see the run clearly through the top stich

I would appreciate any advice
Thank you!

Hi! just saw your post. Yes. In the stitch parameters area, there is a set of tools. (it is helpful to hover over them!) the 3rd of 4th from the left is underlay. toggle that off. On the main screen make sure you have edge run checked. That should help!
